Planning

The quality management system is based upon current capabilities of SSG as determined by personnel and processes, and establishes standard methods for utilizing the resources to satisfy requirements. Customer requirements are reviewed to evaluate and ensure fit within current capabilities and methods. As requirements are encountered which require more or different methods or capabilities, Special Project Plans are established and followed for handling the opportunities. If such requirements are found to be routine, the base system will be updated to accommodate them.

System Documentation

Quality management system documentation consists of:

  • Quality Manual (contents of this website) that defines system scope, summarizes the system and its Processes including the Process Map, and references required Procedures.
  • Process Definitions for each Process which include: a flowchart, process outline and any required procedures.
  • Supporting documents, as referenced in Process Outlines, including work instructions, forms, checklists, templates, matrices, etc.
